Vendor Sales: export and sync to Google Sheets
Compare ordered and shipped retail sales, units, returns, and shipped COGS by ASIN and reporting period.

What this report tells you
Vendor Sales brings Amazon retail sales for your vendor products into Google Sheets. Compare customer demand with shipped results and review which ASINs drive revenue. These are Amazon sales to shoppers, rather than purchase orders Amazon places with your business. Keep that distinction clear when reviewing sales or comparing demand with replenishment plans.
Useful columns to start with
Choose a focused set of columns for your task. These are examples from Hopted’s current Vendor picker, rather than an exhaustive field list.
- ASIN — Identify the product behind each result and match it with other Vendor reports.
- Start Date — Keep the reporting-period start visible when combining exports.
- End Date — Confirm that periods end on the same date before comparing them.
- Ordered Units — Review customer demand; availability depends on the distributor view.
- Ordered Revenue — Compare the value of customer orders alongside ordered units.
- Shipped Units — Track units shipped by Amazon to customers, rather than inbound vendor shipments.
- Shipped Revenue — Review sales associated with shipped customer orders.
- Shipped COGS — Keep Amazon’s cost of shipped products separate from retail revenue.
- Customer Returns — Spot products that need a closer review of customer-return trends.
- Currency — Keep monetary comparisons within the same currency.
Keep Store name, marketplace, date or time fields, and Currency where available. This context helps keep different accounts, periods, and monetary amounts distinct.
How to export Vendor Sales to Google Sheets
1. Connect Amazon Vendor Central to Google Sheets
Install Hopted and sign in. Open your Google Sheet, click Hopted, then Add new data sync and Amazon Vendor Central. Select the vendor accounts to include. For a combined view, choose All vendor accounts (including any added later).

2. Choose the source, settings, and columns
Choose Vendor Sales in the source list and use Add beside the fields you need. Review the source settings where present. The screenshot below shows this source in the current Hopted picker.

In Hopted, select Vendor Sales. A practical starting point is Include records from: Previous calendar month with Reporting period: Month. A completed month is easier to compare than a period that is still changing.
Choose Distributor view and Selling program to match the Vendor Central figures you use. Manufacturing covers products you manufacture across suppliers; Sourcing covers products supplied directly by your vendor group. Ordered metrics belong to the Manufacturing view. Keep the view and program consistent across comparisons.

3. Review optional filters
Leave filters unset for a broader import, or add a filter for the specific records you want to review. Check account, date-range, and filter choices when an expected result is missing.
4. Choose a refresh schedule
Hopted offers every-few-minutes, hourly, daily, and weekly schedules. The schedule uses the time zone shown for your Hopted account. Choose a cadence that fits the report and your review; a faster schedule cannot make Amazon publish data sooner.

5. Review and create the Sync
Check the accounts, selected fields, source settings, filters, and refresh schedule. Choose Create new Sync when the configuration is ready. Review the imported rows before adding calculations or sharing a dashboard.

How to use the report
- Build a product sales review. Group results by ASIN and period, then rank Shipped Revenue and Shipped Units. Compare changes in unit demand with changes in revenue to identify products whose sales mix deserves attention.
- Compare ordered and shipped trends over matching periods. A difference can help you prioritize investigation into timing or availability, but it is not automatically a count of lost sales. Check Vendor Inventory before deciding what caused it.
- Join the report to Vendor Traffic by ASIN, marketplace, and matching dates. Use the combination to explore products with stronger or weaker sales relative to detail-page interest. Keep your review separate from advertising attribution.
What to check before comparing results
Amazon’s standard Vendor analytics are published after the reporting period closes. Refreshing the sync retrieves available data; it does not remove Amazon’s publication delay or make an unfinished period final. Dates follow Amazon’s documented PST reporting convention.
Compare like-for-like currencies, marketplaces, periods, distributor views, and selling programs. A missing ordered metric in a Sourcing view is not evidence of zero demand. Customer returns and shipped results also describe different events, so avoid treating their difference as a complete financial reconciliation.
Availability depends on the vendor account, marketplace, permissions, and the data Amazon supplies. Keep row dimensions intact when joining reports. For longer-term comparisons, review Hopted Data history.
