Clear supported Amazon listing values
Use selected blank Writeback cells to intentionally remove supported values.

Clearing a value is an intentional outgoing change. It requires the selected-range Writeback flow and a field that supports clearing.
Fields that support clearing
- Supported numbered bullet-point fields.
- Parent SKU, to remove an existing variation relationship.
- Offer Start Date.
- Offer End Date.
Clearing is not supported for every listing field. Amazon's requirements still apply, and removing a required value can be rejected. Review variation changes carefully before sending them.
Clear a value deliberately
- Find the relevant imported product row and its editable Writeback column.
- Delete the cell's value so the cell is blank.
- Select that blank cell, or a deliberate rectangular range of cells to clear.
- Open Hopted → Writebacks → Edits in selected range.
- Confirm that the review shows the intended cleared value for the correct SKU, marketplace and field.
- Have an account admin submit, then check the completion email and Last Writeback Issues.
Why a blank cell may do nothing
All pending edits skips blank Writeback cells. Fields that do not support clearing also skip blanks and retain the existing Amazon value. Do not use spaces or made-up replacement text to force a deletion.
For closing a listing, use the supported Closed by seller field. For offer timing, see Set offer start and end dates.
