Choose rolling or calendar reporting dates
Distinguish recent-time windows, completed dates and calendar periods when setting up a report.
Search results
The report's date choices determine which business activity is included. The refresh schedule determines when Hopted asks for updated data. These are separate decisions.
Choose the window that matches your task
- Last 24 hours or another rolling-time option follows a moving time window where offered.
- Yesterday or Previous 7 days uses the completed calendar dates described by that source's options.
- Previous calendar month uses a calendar month rather than a fixed 30-day window.
- Current calendar month is incomplete and continues changing as the month progresses.
Different sources offer different choices. For example, the seller Sales & Traffic report can show Last 30 days, while another report offers Previous 30 days. Read the actual choice and source description rather than assuming every report includes the same dates.
Set a custom relative window
- Open the report's options in the field picker.
- Select the relevant custom days, weeks or months option.
- Enter the requested number of periods or range. Follow the bounds displayed by Hopted.
- Finish editing the option and confirm the resulting label before adding fields or saving the sync.
“Two months ago” remains a relative period: it moves as time passes. It is not a permanently frozen month of historical data.
Align comparisons
Use the same reporting window, business scope and currency when comparing sources. Check the source's time-zone description; the Hopted account time zone controls sync scheduling and does not redefine Amazon's report dates.
For vendor analytics, see Choose Vendor Central report options. To retain two date choices at once, add separate reporting periods.
